# Capturing Calls on iPhone

Record a call with iPhone's built-in call recording, then share it to Aila. These steps match **Settings > How to use Aila > Native Apple Recording** in the app.

## Capture a call

1. On the call, tap **More**.
2. Tap **Call Recording**. iPhone announces the recording to both sides.
3. A timer runs while you talk. Tap the red square to stop early, or just hang up.
4. Right after the call, a **Notes** notification pops up. Tap it.
5. Your recording is saved in Notes. Tap the **Share** button in the top right.
6. Pick **Aila** in the share sheet.
7. Tap **Upload**.
8. Open Aila to watch the transcript arrive.

Missed the notification? In Aila, tap the capture button, then **Import call recording > Open my Notes**, and share the recording from there.

## Pin Aila to your share sheet

Pin Aila so it's always one tap away. You only need one of these two options.

### Option 1: Pin the app

1. In the share sheet, scroll the app row to the far right and tap **More**.
2. On the Apps page, tap **Edit** in the top right.
3. Tap the green **+** next to Aila. Keep its toggle on.
4. Aila moves into **Favorites**. Tap the checkmark to save.

Aila now always appears in the app row.

### Option 2: Pin the action

1. In the share sheet, tap **View More** on the second row.
2. Tap **Edit Actions** at the bottom.
3. Switch **Save to Aila** on, tap the green **+**, then tap the checkmark.

**Save to Aila** now sits in your actions row.

## Import other audio

Any audio file you can share (Voice Memos, Files, an email attachment) can go to Aila the same way: tap **Share**, then pick **Aila** or **Save to Aila**.
